Good Neighbor Community Health Center Mission
The Mission of Good Neighbor Community Health Center is to work in collaboration with the community to increase access to primary prevantative health care in order to improve the heath of the community, especially underserved
and vulnerable populations. It is our desire to provide care that revolves around you. We want each patient to have a relationship with a primary care clinician who will take responsibility for your care. At your appointment, you will be asked
to choose a primary care provider to follow you on any medical concerns.
History of Good Neighbor Community Health Center
In April of 2003, East Central District Health Department was awarded a Community Health Center grant which lead to the formalization of the medical services in the area for vulnerable populations. This grant lead to the formation of Good
Neighbor Community Health Center (GNCHC) with its own governing board. In 2004 Obstetric (OB) clinic services were added and Behavioral Health services were expanded. In 2006 Dental Services were added. We have continued to grow
and now offer Opthamology, Diabetes education and Substance abuse evaluations.
